Because your privacy is important to us, Lubbock Progressives operates by these principles:

(1) We explicitly ask when we need information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information"). For example, Lubbock Progressives asks you for your name, e-mail name and address when you register to be a volunteer. We use your Personal Information to operate and personalize your experience with the Lubbock Progressives Web site, provide you with the information you request, and we may occasionally inform you of new events and information related to the Lubbock County Progressive Movement.

(2) The "Profile" page on our site offers you the opportunity to sign up to receive information via email from sites or individuals who are not affiliated with our county headquarters. For example the google mail groups are not managed by our staff but rather are moderated by individuals who asked to be linked to our site. By signing up for these links your name will be placed on their mailing list and you will receive the postings which are outside the control of our organization.

(2) Lubbock Progressives may carefully select candidates or other similar minded political organizations to send you information about their events. If you don't want us to do this, you may e-mail webmaster@lubbockprogressives.com to request that you not receive such information.

(3) Personally identifiable information that you choose to provide to another Web site will be subject to the privacy policies of that Web site. For example, if you follow a hyperlink from Lubbock Progressives to another site (e.g., a candidate Web site), information you provide is subject to that site's privacy policy rather than our privacy policy.

If at any time you believe that Lubbock Progressives has not adhered to these principles, please notify us by e-mail to webmaster@lubbockprogressives.com and we will use all commercially reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem.
